A significant stride for the next-generation Tacoma comes in the form of a completely revamped coil spring multi-link rear suspension. This upgraded suspension, now a standard feature across all Canadian grades, enhances the overall ride and handling dynamics of the new Tacoma, delivering exceptional performance on both on- and off-road terrains. Additionally, the 2024 Tacoma introduces a wider array of powertrain options, offering two choices that not only boost power but also enhance efficiency. The turbocharged i-FORCE 2.4-liter engine is capable of generating up to 278 horsepower and 317 lb.-ft. of torque. Meanwhile, the available i-FORCE MAX hybrid is a standout performer, delivering an impressive 326 horsepower and an extraordinary 465 lb.-ft. of torque, marking the highest torque in the mid-size truck segment.

The all-new 2024 Tacoma i-FORCE will go on sale in Penticton early this year, with i-FORCE MAX models arriving in Spring or Summer of 2024. Manufacturer’s suggested retail pricing and the fuel economy for i-FORCE MAX models will be announced closer to the on-sale date.
