Meet the 2023 Toyota BZ4X

The 2023 Toyota bZ4X is the first in a line of seven battery-electric Toyotas that will carry the bZ brand. Concerning appearance, functionality, and driving dynamics, the new Toyota bZ4X is made to outperform rival electric vehicles. Exterior

The engineering team set out to defy expectations with the brand-new bZ4X by creating a distinctive, futuristic design without sacrificing the comfort associated with SUVs. Interior

Pull the handle on the driver's side door, and a futuristic cabin greets you. The bZ4X cabin is surprisingly roomy and bright, with a fixed panoramic glass roof. There’s plenty of room for five people inside the Toyota, including legroom and headroom up front and back.

A central touchscreen and a digital gauge display are both included in the dashboard. The 12.3-inch Toyota Multimedia features full smartphone compatibility, cloud navigation, satellite radio, and a remote for vehicle tracking. Additional standard comfort features include dual-zone automatic climate control, an automatic air recirculation control system, cloth or simulated leather seating surfaces, and a leather wrapped steering wheel.

Powertrain

The lithium-ion battery pack that powers the 2023 Toyota bZ4X generates 201 horsepower on the FWD models and 214 on the AWD models. According to NRCan test methodology, the FWD models offer an estimated total driving range of up to 406 km when fully charged and in ideal conditions. The NRCan test methodology estimates that the AWD models' driving range, when fully charged and operating in perfect conditions, is 367 km. With Direct Current charging, under ideal conditions, you can charge from low battery light to 80% in about 30 minutes on the FWD models or 60 minutes on AWD models. Security

Throughout the entire bZ4X line, safety is outstanding. Every model has a long list of safety features, including the Toyota Safety Sense collection. These features include automatic high beams, lane-keeping assistance, a departure warning system, recognition of traffic signs, automatic braking, and adaptive cruise control. The Limited trim adds a 360-degree camera with a number of different viewing angles.
